Refund Policy

Gift credits are generally non-refundable. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.

1. Gift Credits - Non-Refundable

Gift credits purchased through Send.gift are non-refundable. Once a purchase is complete and the gift notification has been sent to the recipient, the transaction is final. This policy exists because:

  • Gift credits are delivered instantly via email
  • We cannot retrieve or void gift credits once delivered
  • The recipient may have already begun the redemption process

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you understand and accept the non-refundable nature of gift credits.

2. Limited Exceptions

In our sole discretion, we may consider refund requests in the following limited circumstances:

  • Technical failures: The gift notification was not delivered due to a verified technical error on our part (not email delivery issues on recipient's end)
  • Duplicate charges: You were charged multiple times for the same gift due to a system error (with transaction documentation)

Note: Refund requests based on these exceptions must be submitted within 48 hours of purchase and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to deny any refund request at our sole discretion.

3. No Refunds for the Following

Refunds will NOT be provided for:

  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse
  • Incorrect recipient email address entered by the purchaser
  • Gift notifications filtered to spam or not received by recipient
  • Recipient declining or not redeeming the gift
  • Price changes or promotions after purchase
  • Gift credits that have been partially or fully redeemed
  • Dissatisfaction with available products
  • Currency conversion differences
  • Third-party fees (bank fees, transaction fees, etc.)

4. Unredeemed Gift Credits

Gift credits do not expire (except where required by applicable law). However, unredeemed gift credits are not eligible for refund regardless of the time elapsed since purchase.

If you need to cancel an unredeemed gift within 48 hours of purchase due to extraordinary circumstances, you may contact us at support@send.gift. Such requests are handled entirely at our discretion and approval is not guaranteed.

5. Redeemed Products

IMPORTANT: Once a gift credit has been redeemed for a product, the gift credit value is permanently consumed and cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

  • Gift credit value: Non-refundable once applied to a product order
  • Product returns: Subject exclusively to the third-party merchant's return policy
  • Top-up payments: Any additional payment made during redemption may be refundable depending on the merchant's policies

We are NOT the seller of products and have no control over merchant return or refund policies. Product-related refund requests must be directed to the fulfilling merchant.

6. Third-Party Merchant Responsibility

All products available through Send.gift are provided by independent third-party merchants. Send.gift acts solely as an intermediary platform and is not responsible for:

  • Product quality, defects, or damages
  • Shipping delays or lost packages
  • Product descriptions or specification accuracy
  • Merchant return, exchange, or warranty policies
  • Any disputes arising from product fulfillment

Product issues must be resolved directly with the fulfilling merchant. We may assist in facilitating communication but are under no obligation to do so and assume no liability for merchant actions or inactions.

7. Product Issues and Disputes

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product:

  • Contact the fulfilling merchant directly using the order information provided
  • If you need assistance locating merchant contact information, email us within 7 days of delivery
  • Provide photos and detailed documentation of the issue

Resolution options (replacement, exchange, or refund of top-up amounts) are determined solely by the merchant's policies. We make no guarantees regarding the outcome of any product dispute.

8. How to Submit a Refund Request

If you believe you qualify for a refund under the limited exceptions stated above, submit your request to support@send.gift within 48 hours of purchase, including:

  • Order or gift confirmation number
  • Email address used for the purchase
  • Detailed explanation of the issue
  • Supporting documentation (screenshots, error messages, transaction records)

Incomplete requests may not be processed. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval.

9. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method only
  • Processing typically takes 5-10 business days after approval
  • The time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your financial institution
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by payment processors or banks
  • Any processing fees incurred are non-refundable

10. Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us to resolve the issue is considered a violation of these Terms. We reserve the right to dispute all chargebacks and may suspend or terminate access for users who file frivolous chargebacks. False or fraudulent chargeback claims may be reported to relevant authorities.

11. Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to refuse refunds and/or terminate accounts if we suspect fraudulent activity, abuse of the refund process, or violation of our Terms of Service. Suspicious activity may be reported to appropriate authorities.

12. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase will govern your transaction.
